RMHC Norfolk & CHKD

Ronald McDonald House Charities of Norfolk focuses on providing essential services that help remove barriers, support families, and promote healing when children need medical care. Located just steps from Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters CHKD, the House gives families a place to rest, sleep comfortably, and stay close to their child’s care team. With access to laundry facilities, donated food items, and meals prepared by generous volunteer groups, families can focus on what matters most, being present for their children.

We also offer a Day Use Program for families who are not staying overnight at Ronald McDonald House but have a child receiving care at CHKD. This program gives families a break from the hospital during the day and includes free Wi Fi, access to the laundry room, and use of the kitchen and food.
